Terms of Service

Please review these terms before booking a Freckled Fairy event.

By booking a Freckled Fairy event, the client agrees to the following terms:

1. Booking & Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your event date. Dates are not reserved without payment.
  • The remaining balance is due on the day of the event prior to the start of activities.
  • Freckled Fairy reserves the right to decline services if final payment is not received.

2. Cancellations

  • All deposits are non-refundable.
  • If cancellation occurs 14 or more days before the event, the deposit may be transferred one time to a new available date within 90 days.
  • Cancellations made fewer than 7 days before the event will result in loss of the deposit.
  • If cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the event start time, the full event balance remains due.

3. Rescheduling

  • One reschedule is permitted with at least 14 days' notice, subject to availability.
  • Reschedule requests made fewer than 14 days before the event may not be accommodated and will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

4. Changes to Event Time or Length

  • Requests to modify event start time or duration must be made in writing at least 7 days in advance.
  • Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • Same-day time changes cannot be guaranteed.

5. Guest Count

  • Guest counts are required for events that have addons specific to the number of guests in attendance.
  • The client agrees to provide an accurate guest count at the time of booking.
  • Final guest count must be confirmed at least 3 days prior to the event.
  • If attendance exceeds the agreed number, Freckled Fairy reserves the right to modify activities to ensure quality and safety. Additional charges may apply.

6. Activities & Experience Flow

  • The number and order of activities may vary depending on guest count, engagement level, venue conditions, and event flow.
  • Freckled Fairy may adjust the itinerary as needed to create the best possible experience.

7. Supervision & Guest Conduct

  • Freckled Fairy provides interactive entertainment and immersive activities. The fairy is not responsible for supervising children.
  • A parent or responsible adult must remain present for the duration of the event.
  • The client agrees to manage disruptive behavior and ensure guests treat the performer and materials respectfully.
  • Freckled Fairy reserves the right to discontinue services if safety becomes a concern.

8. Damage to Costumes or Materials

  • Costumes, props, and supplies are specialty items.
  • The client may be held financially responsible for damage caused by excessive force, neglect, or unsafe behavior.
  • Smoking, open flames, and pets must be kept away from costumes and materials.

9. Weather & Outdoor Events

  • For outdoor events, the client must provide a weather backup plan.
  • Freckled Fairy does not perform in rain or unsafe weather conditions.
  • Extreme heat or cold may require activity modifications or shortened performance times for safety.

10. Performer Cancellation

  • In the unlikely event Freckled Fairy must cancel due to emergency or illness, the client may choose either:
    • A full refund
    • OR
    • A complimentary rescheduled event within 12 months

11. Satisfaction Concerns

  • If a concern arises during the event, the client must communicate it before the performer departs so it may be addressed in real time.
  • Freckled Fairy strives to create meaningful, magical experiences and will make reasonable efforts to resolve concerns when communicated promptly.
  • Refunds will not be issued after services are completed.

12. Accessibility & Special Accommodations

  • Freckled Fairy welcomes all children and families.
  • The client agrees to communicate any special needs or accommodations in advance so appropriate adjustments may be made.

13. Privacy

  • Client information is used solely for booking and event coordination and will never be sold or shared except as required by law.
